A new survey has revealed that around one third of British banking customers are losing confidence in their current credit card and financial providers.
As experts suggest considering more economical personal loan alternatives, the YouGov study for ING Direct reveals that less than half of the 2,147 respondents are prepared to recommend their bank to others.
Indeed, one tenth of those asked said they would actually warn people away from signing up with their own banking provider.
ING Direct chief executive Lindsay Sinclair commented: "Britons are fed up with receiving poor service and unfair products from their banks, and are quite rightly wreaking revenge by warning off friends and family."
Approximately 63 per cent of the survey criticised bad customer service; 59 per cent were influenced by poor rates; 27 per cent of respondents were confused by complex products; and 17 per cent disliked jargon.
Personal loans offer realistically easier to attain and more manageable options.
