Loan consolidation can help BDS

30 June 2005

The number of Britons suffering from "Balance Denial Syndrome" (BDS), is reportedly growing.

BDS refers to people who are oblivious of their financial situation.

Research by Lloyds TSB found that 18 per cent of people in the UK regularly avoid checking the balance of their current account.

The survey found that one in six people never inspect the state of their finances, or look into debt consolidation solutions, such as loans.

The most common reason for this was the fear that the account wouldn't contain enough funds to cover desired purchases.

For those who do not want to admit they are in debt, there are ways of clawing themselves out of the situation, so they no longer have to pretend it does not exist, and one of those ways is with a consolidation loan.
