Recent research indicates most UK residents would use a cash windfall to fund an exotic holiday.
Talking about the study into how people would spend a £20,000 gift Ali Crossley, director for lifetime mortgages, Prudential UK explained: "We all have dreams no matter what our age, and it seems that the common aspiration for all age groups is to travel. But as people get older they find it more difficult to turn these dreams into reality."
But a luxury trip abroad need not be out of reach to customers that aren't lucky enough to have received a sudden cash injection. Instead they could pay for their Caribbean cruise or Amazon trek with a competitively priced personal loan.
