HSBC has introduced a special deal on home loans in time to coincide with the Christmas shopping period.
The bank has promised that it will not be charging any processing fees on its home loans, and has vowed to defer the first three payments for anyone taking out a loan between now and January 31st.
HSBC said that the deal would appeal to anyone wanting to take out a loan but whose capability to make repayments immediately would be hampered by a need to spend on other things at this time of year.
CEO Shaun Wallis explained to online service di-ve: "Over the next two months, HSBC is offering a number of Christmas discounts on various products, giving our customers the opportunity to make that longed-for purchase this Christmas and during the January sales."
The HSBC's current offer on home loans will also apply to flexicredit loans as well, the bank has promised.
In addition, new credit card customers will not be required to pay any bank fees for the first 12 months.
