Following last week's announcement detailing the changes Nationwide's credit card customers would be witnessing in the coming weeks, the high street lender will also be amending its APR rates on its personal loans from tomorrow.
Personal loans from then Nationwide Building Society will now have a rate of 15.4% for customers looking to take out between £1,000 and £2,999 - up 1.5% on its previous rate.
Consumers wanting to take out a loan between £3,000 and £4,999 will face a 13.9% APR, while loans between £5,000 and £7,499 are pegged at 8.9% interest rate and for loans between £7,500 and £25,000, a 7.9% rate will now apply.
The good news is there are still no arrangement fees or upfront charges on Nationwide personal loans, which ought to make it slightly easier for any consumers considering taking out a personal loan with the lender.
