E.ON offers energy monitoring kits to SMEs
Tina Cowley, Manager of E.ON SME Propositions, told the news provider: "That will allow customers to see how and when they are using energy and identify areas where they can save energy, such as using it overnight, for example."
Several of the Big Six energy firms are offering smart meters to both domestic and business energy customers as they offer a good way to review energy usage and help people become more efficient.
It has recently been announced that a £12 billion scheme to provide every household in the UK with a smart meter by 2019 will now be voluntary, with people able to opt out if they wish.
