E.ON price cuts to benefit 1.9m
Ann Robinson, Director of Consumer Policy at the site, commented: "This is great news for consumers as the fact that three of the big six suppliers have reduced prices puts the remaining three under intense pressure to follow suit."
She emphasised, however, that the recent energy price cuts are unlikely to compensate for the large rises seen two years ago.
As a result, it is important for people to go in search of the best deals when it comes to their energy supplier, Ms Robinson added.
In recent says, Scottish and Southern Energy announced it was to reduce dual fuel gas prices by 4%. The changes will come into effect on March 29th.
