Online energy plans offer best deals, says uSwitch
As a rule of thumb, online price plans are more affordable by around £300, she emphasised.
She continued: "So it is definitely best to look around at other plans available.
"Regardless of prices going up or down, online is always the cheaper option."
Energy suppliers save money themselves by using the internet, Ms Bush revealed, mainly because customers are encouraged to input their own information.
Last week, npower announced price reductions for approximately two million standard domestic gas customers averaging 7%.
These cuts will take effect as of March 26th, so customers have a matter of days to take advantage of the offer.
