Consumers are getting greater value for money if the results revealed by Welsh Water are anything to go by, it has been claimed.
Diane McCrea, Consumer Council for Water's Chair of the Wales Committee, noted that a £21 dividend proves that customers have been given a good deal, reports News Wales.
She claimed that the company has responded to fears raised by clients, such as the treatment of water and greater efficiency, by meeting the requests.
"Looking forward to the water price review, we expect Welsh Water to continue to deliver improved services, with consumers' priorities firmly at its heart," she told the publication.
Ms McCrea added that Ofwat ought to take note of the demands of consumers and try to outline objectives that the general public would consider viable.
Welsh Water claims that it attempts to improve overall services by generating quality contract partners. It also has no shareholders.
