Orange has signed a deal to allow its customers to use The Cloud's wireless broadband hotspots.

The deal will open up 7,500 more Wi-Fi hotspots in the UK to Orange customers and will bring the total number now accessible to 10,000.

The Orange Wi-Fi Access is available to customers who subscribe to its Business Everywhere mobile data card offering.

Anthony Keyworth, director of products at Orange Business Services: "Our business customers want easy-to-use, secure communication. They are less worried about who owns the infrastructure and naturally more interested in a service that works effectively.

"Partnering with The Cloud enables us to extend our high quality service to thousands more locations in an instant."

Orange already has deals in place with BT OpenZone, France Telecom and WeRoam.
