UK ISP Zen Internet is planning to move to new larger premises next year as part of its expansion drive.

Zen's staff of 260 will remain in Rochdale but will move to the Kingsway Business Park, UK-bug-net reports.

Originally, the ISP had planned to move in 2010, but has been forced into the move by the speed of its growth.

Richard Tang, managing director of Zen said: "As Zen has grown, we have been forced to split our staff between three different buildings. This has been due to the lack of quality office space of a suitable size in the local area. We have now reached capacity at all three sites and have an immediate need for additional space to expand our business."

The move would mark the beginning of a new era of success for Zen, securing the long-term future of our business and bringing prosperity to the local area. I very much hope we are able to realise this fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Earlier this year Zen picked up the award for Best Broadband ISP at the Reliability and Service Awards for the fourth year running.
