An online advisory service has offered a breakdown of the mobile broadband market to assist those looking to benefit from the products.
Small business portal ByteStart suggests that the mobile broadband market has seen significant development in the past few years and is now capable of delivering a service comparable to that of some fixed-line internet products.
Among the benefits identified by the site are new low prices, with dongles available from £10 a month.
"It's estimated that will allow you to send 650 plain text emails or surf the web for 30 hours. And like all telecommunications, prices can only come down in the months and years ahead," the resource comments.
The benefits for businesses are said to be "huge", allowing workers to respond quickly wherever they are.
UK telecoms provider 3 has recently announced that it has seen the number of people using its mobile broadband product soar since it was first launched in December last year.
