Broadband Choices' latest survey has found Sky Broadband to be the UK's top broadband provider.

The study, conducted every six months, found Sky to be top in all six satisfaction categories in which providers were assessed.

Data from Broadband Choices' monthly download survey seems to back up Sky's position as the provider customers consider to give the most satisfactory download times for pages and files.

"Sky is the UK's fastest growing broadband provider," commented Broadband Choices product director Michael Phillips.

He went on: "They have recently increased their advertising presence and set their prices and packages at a level that has attracted a large number of new customers to its service."

Although Broadband Choices explained that O2's sample size in the survey was "too small" to include in the tables next to other providers, the company scored 94 per cent for 'fairly/very satisfied' in the 'overall quality and reliability' category.
