TalkTalk has announced it will handing out free wireless routers with every single broadband package sold.

The provider has confirmed that from Monday, September 1st, any customers signing up to its broadband deals either online or over the phone will be entitled to take home the device free-of-charge.

According to TalkTalk, the new offer will put money back into the pocket of the customer: "Currently, this costs the customer an extra £30, so the fact that TalkTalk are giving this away free means a significant cost saving for everyone.

"Coupled with our existing £3.25 a month price point, this will further enhance TalkTalk as the best value broadband package out there."

Broadband packages from TalkTalk come with up to 8Mb download speeds, a monthly download limit of 40GB, as well as 15GB of free webspace.

New customers are being invited to undertake a free 30-day trial, with the right to cancel their subscription during the period if they so choose.
