A new 100Mb broadband service will be offered to businesses in the capital.
Internet service provider Vaioni says that its Ethernet, fibre optic, layer two premium service will be available to lease by London-based companies.
Vaioni told the ISP Review that it boasts a 99.96 per cent service level agreement for internet access and will fix any problems within four hours.
Company representative Sachin Vaish commented: "This 100mb offer should allow businesses to not only extend their budget in other areas of telecoms and IT, but get more for their money. We are hoping to bring this to Manchester and other major cities in the near future."
Muswell Hill in north London was recently chosen by BT as a trial area for its planned 40Mb broadband service, due to go commercial nationwide by 2010.
