Mobile broadband news

A new laptop is expected to interest prospective mobile broadband customers, with in-built 3G connectivity being its "key selling point", says one technology news provider.

Tech Radar has given a favourable assessment of the new Advent 4213, which features a pre-installed mobile broadband module as standard.

Its review pointed out: "The SIM card is slotted beneath the battery and a T-Mobile contract can be bought with the laptop at the time of purchase. It's not solely tied to this network provider though."

Other features of the Netbook which caught the attention is a camera on the screen panel and a 205-minute battery life.

Vodafone is currently offering a free Advent 5312 Dual Core Laptop PC with its 24-month 5Gb mobile broadband deal.
