There is money to be saved by bundling broadband services with other utilities, according to one expert.
Clare Francis of the Daily Record has highlighted the benefits of enjoying broadband from the same provider as other services, including TV and telephony.
Ms Francis urged those with a satellite television subscription to think about receiving their broadband from the same source.
Terrestrial viewers unable to bundle their TV services were told to consider acquiring a landline and broadband deal in order to save.
"One area many people don't think about, but where there are great savings to be made, is with television, phone and broadband packages," she said.
"If you have Sky or cable television, it's well worth adding broadband and phone calls to your package. And even if you have Freeview, it's worth getting your landline and broadband from the same provider."
Sky, which currently boasts upwards of 1.9 million subscribers, offers triple-play bundles including TV, telephony and broadband services.
