Mobile operator Orange has announced a number of offers aimed at broadband customers this spring.

The provider is offering free USB modems for customers who take out mobile broadband plans before the end of the month.

Until April 30th, customers will receive a free dongle when signing up to an 18-month 1GB mobile broadband plan.

The tariff costs £9.79 per month and customers can choose from a black, white or pink USB modem. However, the offer is limited to online-only purchases.

Free USB modems are also available on the 3GB and 10GB monthly-usage plans which cost a respective £14.68 and £24.47 each per month.

New lower prices have been announced for the 30-day mobile broadband packages, with dongles on both the 3GB and 10GB plans down to £29.

Fellow mobile broadband provider O2 has distributed free USB modems to provide business broadband customers with a free trial of its mobile service.
