Business broadband provider Timico is going to rename two recently-acquired companies.

As of this month, Timico will become the trading brand name of both KeConnect Limited and Limited.

By consolidating the brands under one name, the company is hoping to strengthen its position as a business-only internet service provider.

The re-branding will allow for the company's customer service team to be available for longer hours during the day and new online portals to be created for customers, which will give them 24-hour access to billing information and their accounts.

Chris Tombs, Chief Executive of Timico, said: "With a wider ranging IP network, we can now further leverage our market leading converged services and grow the business to become the UK's leading supplier of high-quality, business strength IP solutions, backed by exceptional personal customer service.

"This re-branding will still mean 'business as usual' in terms of providing our customers and Business Partners with a first class customer experience."

The three companies currently service some of the UK's largest companies, including BP, Paypoint and Vodafone.
