BT Total Broadband customers could benefit from a new special offer on a range of its TV packs.
Currently, users deciding to subscribe to any of the Value packs on its broadband TV-on-demand service BT Vision will receive a Vision+ box for free, according to Digital Choices.
The Vision+ box offers Freeview and has a built-in 160GB hard drive, as well as being capable of delivering high-definition signals.
At the moment, BT offers a three value packs, which customers can customise to match their viewing preferences.
Channels are grouped into specific genres including Picture Box (films), Kids, Music Sport and TV Pack, the last of which consists of programming from both the UK and the US.
These can be subscribed to in different configurations - BT Vision's top package, Gold Value, offers customers a choice of four channel packs at a starting rate of £12.23 for the first three months and £19.57 from then on.
Silver Value delivers three packs for £10.27 and then £17.61 after three months, while Bronze Value, which consists of any two packs, is priced at £7.34 to begin with before rising to £14.68 following the introductory period.
Digital Choices operation director Jon Ingram said: "The Vision+ box is bang-up-to-date, being HD ready and giving users the ability to record TV to its memory.
BT Vision's Sport package promises 242 same-day football matches from the Premier League, while the on-demand Music package boasts more than 1,500 music videos.
