Some Virgin Media broadband customers in Leeds have been experiencing problems with their services.

Customers in the West Yorkshire region were missing certain parts of the broadband service yesterday (September 14th) following a problem with routing issues, reports the Register.

Virgin Media is now investigating the problems, which started early in the morning and left customers without their broadband, TV, or telephone services from the firm.

The company told the website a routing issue was "affecting some customers trying to visit certain US websites such as".

Virgin Media added it "is working as a high priority to identify the affected sites and… implementing workarounds to re-route traffic wherever possible".

The broadband provider recently had engineers investigate an email blackout, which left customers with only intermittent access to emails between Monday August 24th and Thursday August 27th.
