The UK's leading fibre-optic broadband provider has suffered a series of technical hitches, it has been revealed.

Some of Virgin Media's customers have reportedly been hit by outages and loss of connection today (September 30th), while the company's website has also been experiencing loading problems.

Virgin Media recently confirmed that it is to be listed on the London Stock Exchange from tomorrow (October 1st).

The company will be on the list, under the symbol of VMED, from 08:00 BST.
