Internet service provider TalkTalk has announced the launch of a new trial aimed at its Tiscali customers.
The broadband provider is looking for 200 volunteers to use two new wireless routers – the Huawei HG521 and the Huawei HG532 – as part of the investigation.
Experts will then study whether the equipment improves the stability of ADSL broadband connections and monitor any sync rate and line condition discrepancies, as well as checking the overall wireless performance.
Giving details on the trial, TalkTalk stated: "It would be appreciated if your feedback is comprehensive, regular, and is sent through to the Labs team via the feedback system.
"We advise you to keep your existing router safe just in case you experience any issue so that you can switch back if needed."
News of the trial has come after TalkTalk confirmed it has added new customer support videos to its YouTube channel.
The clips include information on setting up online billing and creating an email address.
