Leading broadband provider TalkTalk is getting into the World Cup spirit by lending its backing to the unofficial tournament anthem Shout for England.
With team boss Fabio Capello vetoing any official release for England's summer campaign in South Africa, X Factor boss Simon Cowell has put together a record featuring rapper Dizzee Rascal and comedian James Corden.
TalkTalk is encouraging consumers to enter into the spirit of things by recording their own version of the track – and by doing so they could find themselves on the final edit.
All they are required to do is call the internet service provider's special freephone number 0800 49 49 49 to sing along, or visit the TalkTalk website and upload their own music video footage.
Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at TalkTalk, commented: "This is the first time the nation has been called upon to show its support in this way, and we're thrilled that TalkTalk can help create what is effectively the first ever country-wide super group."
The World Cup kicks off on June 11th with South Africa v Mexico in Johannesburg, with England playing the USA one day later.
