Broadband provider Vodafone has revealed that its microSIM deals for use with the iPad are now on general sale.

The company had been offering consumers the chance to pre-order the packages for several weeks, but now they are available for users of Apple's tablet devices to get their hands on immediately.

Vodafone is offering access to three deals, which begin at £10 for a 1GB monthly data allowance.

Alternatively, subscribers could take up a 3GB deal for £15 a month or a 5GB allowance which retails at £25 a month.

Details of the new microSIM broadband deals from Vodafone have come after Apple confirmed that it has sold over two million iPads in less than 60 days since the device's launch in the US.

The tablet device is now shipping in the UK, Australia, Germany, Italy and Canada, as well as Japan, Spain and Switzerland.

It will be available in additional countries later this year.
