Consumers now have less than a week to take advantage of Plusnet's latest broadband deal.

The internet service provider (ISP) has been offering its entry-level Value broadband package for just £4.99 per month, but this offer is due to end on July 8th.

Subscribers seeking Plusnet broadband services will then be subject to the package's ordinary price of £6.49 per month on a one-year deal.

New customers can take advantage of the summer promotion by using the code "offer" when signing up online or over the phone.

The Sheffield-based ISP recently announced new prices for two of its other broadband packages.

Plusnet Extra is now priced at £9.99 per month, while consumers signing up for Plusnet Pro face a monthly bill of £14.99.

These packages may appeal in particular to frequent downloaders, including online gaming fans, as the broadband deals offer up to 20Mb speeds, compared to 8Mb on Plusnet Value.
