The cost of BT’s Infinity home broadband and home phone package has been cut for a limited period, offering customers the chance to experience a super fast broadband service for a significantly reduced price.
All new customers who sign up online for the product for 18 months will pay just £7.49 per month for the initial three months of their contract term – down from the standard price of £19.99. Thereafter the price will revert to £17.99 per month.
BT is also waiving the standard connection fee and will provide around the clock customer support as well as a free, award-winning Infinity Home Hub, which is optimised for making the most of a fast, cable broadband service.
The bundle entitles customers to a super fast broadband connection of up to 40Mb, making it ideal for heavy web users, online gaming enthusiasts or anyone seeking a next-generation internet experience.
To cater for the needs of heavy downloaders, the product also features a generous 40GB per month usage limit.
The calls facet of the Infinity and phone bundle offers unlimited UK landline calls at evenings and weekends, including calls to numbers prefixed with 0845 and 0870.
Alongside the Infinity offer, which will only be available in areas where BT operates a fibre optic broadband service, the network has launched limited period promotions across the rest of its broadband product range.
From today (August 20th), free connection applies on all BT broadband offers. BT is also offering a free V+ box for subscribers who sign up for its on-demand television service BT Vision and any Value pack.
BT was this week among the nominees for the 2010 Top10.com Broadband Awards. The company is in the running for three prizes, namely Best Broadband and TV, Best Broadband and Home Phone and Broadband Innovation for its Infinity service.
