A mere three days are left for consumers looking to take advantage of three months free on BT's Total Broadband and Unlimited UK calls package.

Since last month, the firm has been offering the registration incentive to potential new subscribers, but the offer is being withdrawn on October 1st.

BT's final summer deal offers consumers the opportunity to knock almost £50 off their annual bill, based on a monthly fee of £15.99 per month over an 18-month contract.

The Total Broadband package offers download speeds of up to 20Mb, a 10GB monthly usage allowance and unlimited Wi-Fi minutes.

A free Home Hub worth £89.99 is also included, although subscribers are also required to pay a monthly line rental fee.

BT is currently investing up to £2.5 billion upgrading local telephone exchanges around the UK to support next-generation broadband.

Earlier this month, the firm announced that 15 million households across the UK now receive broadband services via its infrastructure.
