Plusnet news

Plusnet subscribers are being given the opportunity to receive three months internet service for free, as part of the firm's latest promotion.

Customers who recommend a friend to the internet service provider (ISP) before October 10th will be rewarded with the deal incentive.

And in addition, their friend – as a new Plusnet subscriber - will also have to pay nothing for the first three months of their own deal.

"Sounds like a tempting offer, doesn’t it? And it's really easy to get," commented Plusnet's Andrew Clayton.

"Make sure you give your Plusnet username to your friend so you get your discount. When prompted, your friend will need to enter the special code 'refer3' to get their three months free."

Normal referral reductions still apply to customer's accounts for the duration of this offer, meaning there has never been a better time for Plusnet customers to show their ISP loyalty.

Earlier this month, the firm directed a thinly veiled criticism at broadband providers who attempt to capitalise on the start of the university academic year by introducing "gimmicky" student broadband deals.
