Leading mobile broadband provider T-Mobile has extended its current promotion on pay-as-you-go broadband dongles.

The firm has been offering mobile broadband modems for a reduced price off £8.99, and will continue to do so until October 13th 2010.

Consumers who are considering acquiring a dongle will now be given more time to contemplate their next move, with a range of pay-as-you-go and pay-monthly deals available.

T-Mobile's Mobile Broadband USB stick 610 is both PC and Mac compatible, and allows unlimited daily browsing for £2 – subject to a fair usage policy.

Ordinarily priced at £19.99, the dongle also comes with 30 days free browsing when new customers pay for their first day.

Earlier this week, Conrad Longmore, Editor of Mobile Gazette, urged T-Mobile to continue developing 3G mobile broadband, and work towards allowing customers at its sister firm Orange to use its network.
