UK broadband provider Zen Internet has reached a major milestone – its fifteenth anniversary.
The firm - one of the UK's longest-established internet service providers (ISPs) - has been offering web services since the mid-1990s, long before broadband technology arrived in the UK.
According to ISPreview.co.uk, the ISP currently provides broadband deals to around 90,000 customers across the UK.
"15 years ago we could not have envisaged the reliance we all have on our broadband connection – at work and at play," said a Zen Internet spokesperson.
"We also could not have predicted that when Richard Tang, our Managing Director, established the company in 1995, we would grow to around 400 members of staff, manage a network spanning the globe and boast a healthy awards collection."
Last month, the ISP launched a new range of super-fast broadband packages, offering download speeds of up to 40Mb, and a minimum of 8Mb.
The firm also introduced two small business broadband deals, Zen Fibre Office and Fibre Office Plus.
