Griffin Internet has completed the acquisition of business telecoms provider The Fused Group, it has been announced.

The internet service provider (ISP) has taken over all the company's assets, including its UK customer base.

Andrew Dickinson, Managing Director at Griffin Internet, offered a personal welcome to its new employees and clients.

He commented: "Fused have a fantastic reputation in the channel, they have won many accolades over the years and we are delighted with this acquisition.

"We have a lot of experience with migrating partners and end users between networks and we anticipate the minimum of disruption as customers are integrated into the Griffin infrastructure."

Last month, Griffin was one of the UK ISPs to be named in the 2010 Sunday Times Tech Track 100, which lists the fastest growing businesses in the technology sector.

The firm, which has featured in the chart on previous occasions, was named in 76th position by the news provider.
