Virgin Media news

The clock continues to tick down on Virgin Media's current broadband offer.

Consumers looking to save money by receiving a free installation now have just one week left to take advantage of the broadband deal.

All this month, the internet service provider (ISP) has been connecting customers for no charge when they sign up for a TV, home phone and broadband package.

However, Virgin Media is withdrawing the offer on October 31st 2010, meaning time is increasingly short for those contemplating a switch to the ISP.

The £19 broadband, calls and TV bundle - available to customers living on streets included in Virgin Media's cable network – offers 65 TV channels, unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles, plus high-speed broadband access.

Virgin Media recently launched a new advertising campaign featuring cartoon favourite Speedy Gonzales, in which the ISP claims to offer the fastest download speeds in the UK.

This allows consumers to take advantage of a full range of web services, the firm stated.
