Consumers still have ten days remaining to take advantage of Virgin Media's current free broadband installation offer.

All this month, the internet service provider (ISP) has been connecting customers for no charge when they sign up for a TV, home phone and broadband package.

Virgin Media says the offer is "so good we didn't want anyone to miss it", but the deal must end on October 31st 2010.

The ISP claims that its fibre-optic broadband is currently "around twice as fast" as its major rivals, enabling consumers to take advantage of a full range of web services.

However, the £19 broadband, calls and TV bundle is only available to customers living on streets included in Virgin Media's cable network.

For those able to take advantage of the promotion, 65 TV channels and unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles are also included.
