Internet service provider (ISP) O2 and subsidiary firm Be Broadband increased their combined user base during the third quarter of 2010.
The broadband providers secured an additional 13,800 subscribers between July and September 2010, continuing their recent growth.
At the end of the third quarter, 663,800 households were signed up to an O2 or Be broadband package, compared to 650,000 in July.
This came after 17,000 new customers were attracted to the two ISPs during the second quarter of the year.
An O2 statement revealed that subscriber levels have risen by 25.9 per cent year-on-year.
In an attempt to continue its strong recent performance, O2 recently launched a three months free offer for all new customers taking out a home phone and broadband bundle.
The broadband provider is waiving subscribers' first three monthly payments if they sign up for web services before the end of November.
