Internet service provider (ISP) Sky has reminded would-be customers of the need to get their broadband bundles in place before the Christmas break.

The broadband provider says potential subscribers need to call before December 17th if they wish to guarantee having Sky services ready for the festive period.

Sky has warned consumers seeking broadband, TV and home phone services that they will otherwise have to wait until after Boxing Day to be fully connected.

And for families looking forward to watching the Queen's Speech in high definition, this could prove disastrous.

Sky is currently offering new subscribers the opportunity to receive a free Sky+HD box when they sign up for a broadband bundle with Sky Movies.

The ISP is offering access to 50 film channels, a free Sky+HD box with no set-up charge, up to 20Mb broadband and unlimited calls for just £37.75 per month.

It looks like the perfect gift for any Christmas stocking, but remember, fail to sign up by mid-December and you may not be tuning in until the New Year.
