UK consumers living in blocks of flats are now able to take advantage of Sky's TV, home phone and web services, the internet service provider (ISP) has said.

In a national newspaper advert, Sky said apartment-dwellers can take advantage of a "fairytale deal", which provides 20Mb broadband, unlimited calls and subscription TV for under £20 per month.

It is "great news" that people living in flats can now get connected, even if their block is not Sky-ready, the ISP added.

"Our Specialist Installation Team will install a shared dish (subject to survey) so everyone in your block can get Sky TV easily, without the need for individual mini-dishes," Sky explained.

Consumers taking out a Sky broadband bundle can currently get their hands on a free Sky+ box, which comes with a £30 setup charge.

This allows Sky TV subscribers to record and store up to 185 hours of television content, tape entire series and pause and rewind live TV.
