Internet service provider (ISP) TalkTalk says consumers can make significant savings by signing up for its broadband services.
According to the firm, households registering for its Essentials broadband package can save £154 over the course of an 18-month contract, in comparison to other leading broadband providers.
The broadband deal, which is available for £6.99 per month, comes with 24Mb downloading capacity and a 40GB monthly usage allowance.
Unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK landlines, including 0845 and 0870 numbers, also comes as part of the package, however a monthly line rental fee of £12.04 per month applies on top of the broadband bill.
Earlier this week, TalkTalk announced plans to enter the UK's mobile broadband market for the first time.
Tristia Clarke, the ISP's Commercial Director, said the firm's dongle deals – which will be supported by Vodafone's 3G network – will offer value and flexibility to UK consumers.
