Leading internet service provider (ISP) TalkTalk has reminded customers of the cost-saving opportunities offered by its broadband deals.
The firm has taken out a national media advert to promote its "unbeatable value" home phone and broadband packages, which are priced from £6.99 per month.
TalkTalk Essentials, which offers 24Mb downloads, a free wireless broadband router and free evening and weekend calls, is cheaper than other comparable deals, the ISP said.
According to the firm, consumers signing up for this package can save up to £154 over 18 months compared to other major ISPs.
TalkTalk revealed that four out of every five UK homes is now able to take advantage of its Essentials package, which it described as "a great deal".
Earlier this month, the ISP unveiled plans to move into the mobile broadband market, using Vodafone's 3G network to offer dongle services to UK consumers.
"Millions of people already receive our fixed line phone and broadband services, so the obvious next step for us was to offer mobile packages and allow our customers to use a TalkTalk dongle on the go," said Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at the firm.
