Young people up and down the UK will be hoping for an iPad in their Christmas stocking, but they could face disappointment if orders are not made today.
Both Orange and T-Mobile, the sister mobile broadband providers owned by Everything Everywhere, have imposed order deadlines for pre-Christmas tablet and dongle deliveries.
Anyone signing up for the internet service providers' (ISPs) respective iPad plus broadband deals after today (Tuesday December 22nd) are not guaranteed a delivery in time for Christmas day.
With snow and ice covering the UK, the broadband providers' delivery teams will be working overtime to ship orders in time for the big day.
However, demand for both dongle and tablet broadband packages is high, meaning would-be subscribers should delay no longer if they want to see their iPad this side of Boxing Day.
The iPad has been one of the standout consumer releases of 2010, with millions of touch-screen tablets being shipped since the product was launched in April this year.
A number of UK ISPs including Orange, T-Mobile and 3 currently offer 3G and Wi-Fi broadband packages on contracted and pay-as-you-go tariffs.
