Three news

Internet service provider 3 is running a new broadband promotion to add to the appeal of its already-popular Mi-Fi broadband deals.

The broadband provider is offering three months free access to online news content provided by the Times and Sunday Times.

Since last year, consumers have been required to subscribe to the newspaper's website to access news, after both titles launched online paywalls.

The offer applies to consumers taking out 3's 15GB mobile Wi-Fi device, which allows them to create their own personal wireless broadband hotspot while on the move.

Up to five web-enabled devices can be connected to the internet at any one time courtesy of 3 Mi-Fi Mobile, which is available for just £18.03 per month over a two-year contract.

Consumers getting their hands on a Huawei E585 Wireless Modem also receive a free pay-as-you-go SIM for a friend, and a 20-text message allowance every month.

3 says its M-Fi technology is capable of providing downloads of up to 7.2Mb, describing the service as offering "mobile internet access at broadband speeds".
