Consumers still have another three days to take advantage of TalkTalk's extended broadband deal.

Earlier this week, the internet service provider (ISP) announced that its six months half-price broadband offer, which originally expired on January 24th, was to continue for another week.

As a result, households signing up for TalkTalk Essentials can still receive a 50 per cent discount on the standard £6.99 monthly fee up until month seven of their contract.

The broadband deal includes access to 24Mb download speeds, a 40GB usage allowance, as well as free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines and TalkTalk mobiles.

A free wireless broadband router is also included for new customers registering online, adding to the savings possible with the ISP this week.

Consumers will have to hurry to take advantage of the deal however, as it is scheduled to be withdrawn on Monday January 31st 2011.
