Further treats are in store for Sky broadband bundle customers this spring, with top drama series and a host of major film releases set to premiere on UK TV.

Boardwalk Empire, the eagerly-awaited Prohibition Era series featuring Steve Buscemi, airs for the first time tonight (Tuesday February 1st) in Britain on the new channel Sky Atlantic.

The HBO production, which has been showing in the US since September 2010, features the most expensive pilot episode ever created, directed by Martin Scorsese.

Another of the Oscar-winning director's productions will also become available to Sky broadband bundle customers this March – the Leonardo Di Caprio picture Shutter Island.

Other new releases set to premiere on Sky Movies next month include Robin Hood, featuring Russell Crowe, and the late Heath Ledger's final film, The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus.

Sky broadband bundle customers will also be able to watch Kick-Ass, Dear John, Brothers, Shelter, I Love You Phillip Morris, Old Dogs and The Spy Next Door in the comfort of their living rooms.

Consumers who sign up for a TV and broadband package in the next three days will also be able to get their hands on a free Sky+ box, allowing them to pause, rewind, record and store live TV.
