Internet service provider (ISP) Sky has extended its popular free Sky+ broadband deal for another three weeks.

Since the start of last month, the broadband provider has been offering a free unit – which allows consumers to pause, rewind and record live programmes – to all households signing up for its Sky Broadband and Talk package with basic satellite TV access.

The offer was originally due to expire on Thursday February 3rd but has now been extended until February 24th, giving consumers more time to take advantage of the deal.

Households are limited to one free Sky+ box each, saving them £49 on the standard retail price.

However, consumers who are already signed up to Sky+ or Sky+HD are excluded from the offer.

Meanwhile, the ISP is continuing to offer three months free to consumers taking out a home phone and broadband package.

This separate offer is scheduled to run until Thursday February 10th, enabling subscribers to pay nothing except a landline fee until the fourth month of their contract.
