Virgin Media has boosted the appeal of its TV and broadband bundles by adding ESPN Classic to its popular TV on Demand service.

From Monday February 14th, subscribers will be able to roll back the years by tuning in to archive footage from a variety of sports.

ESPN Classic will be replaying memorable moments from the worlds of football, rugby, cricket, and tennis, plus various documentaries and other sporting films.

Among the programmes set to be made available are Legends of Cricket and Best Ever Rugby Matches, while the legendary 1974 interview - An Audience with Muhammad Ali – is another not to be missed.

Virgin Media will be adding 20 hours of content to the channel every month, allowing broadband bundle subscribers to watch at their leisure.

Aleks Habdank, Director of on Demand TV Services & Strategy at the internet service provider, said there would be a wide range of options designed to suit every sporting taste.

"Our customers can already pause and rewind sports to ensure they don't miss a single moment," he stated.

"And now, with the addition of ESPN Classic content to our pioneering TV on Demand service, sports fans have even more flexibility for watching some of the greatest highlights from sporting history whenever they want."
