Hit US TV drama Boardwalk Empire continues to be available exclusivey to Sky satellite TV and broadband bundle customers.

The prohibition-era series, which stars Steve Buscemi as the corrupt treasurer of Atlantic City, premiered in the UK last week and has so far received rave reviews.

Available only on new channel Sky Atlantic and Sky Atlantic HD, the show bolsters the appeal of the internet service provider's TV and broadband packages.

A number of British stars feature in the HBO production, including Liverpudlian actor Stephen Graham, whose credits include Snatch and This is England.

Meanwhile, Scot Kelly Macdonald, who has featured in films such as Trainspotting, Gosford Park and No Country for Old Men, plays a widowed Irish mother in the series.

The Boardwalk Empire pilot, which was directed by the legendary Oscar-winner Martin Scorcese, is reported to be the most expensive ever made.

And with a stellar cast, stunning Jazz Age sets and gangster shoot-outs aplenty to fund, it is easy to see where the reported £12.5 million budget went.

Boardwalk Empire continues on Sky Atlantic and Sky Atlantic HD with episode four on Saturday February 12th.
