Virgin Media news

Virgin Media is taking over London's House of St Barnabas over the next month to show off its latest product innovations.

The internet service provider (ISP) is inviting broadband deal subscribers to call into the Our House event space in Soho between Monday March 28th and Thursday April 21st.

During the three-week residency, Virgin Media will introduce consumers to 100Mb super-fast broadband and also its new TiVo- powered IPTV service.

Our House will have seven rooms featuring the very latest technology from Virgin Media, with broadband, mobile phone and gaming suites among those on offer.

Film screenings, acoustic gigs, photography exhibitions, meetings and private launch events will take place at the venue, which will be open every day from 09:00 to 23:00 BST.

Simon Dornan, Head of PR campaigns at Virgin Media, said the superiority of the firm's network "had to be seen to be believed".

"It's all very well boasting about how fast our 100Mb broadband is or how compelling our new TiVo powered TV service is, but we want people to experience it for themselves," he stated.

"Our House is the perfect vehicle to do that - offering superb connectivity with the latest technology and entertainment."
