Internet service provider BT is offering three months' free service to households signing up to its 40Mb fibre-to-the-cabinet broadband deals.

The BT Infinity offer applies to customers registering for fibre broadband bundled with a weekend or anytime home phone plan.

For £18 per month, consumers can subscribe to More Broadband and Calls with Superfast BT-Infinity, which offers up to 40Mb downloads and a 40GB usage allowance.

The 18-month broadband package includes a free Home Hub wireless broadband router, basic online security and a free connection.

Alternatively, BT is offering Unlimited Broadband and Calls with Superfast BT-Infinity for £28 per month, also with three months free.

The package includes up to 40Mb downloads, an unlimited monthly usage allowance, a free Wi-Fi router, advanced IT security and a free connection.

A £10 per month line rental fee also applies to both broadband and home phone packages.
