Internet service provider (ISP) TalkTalk has launched an exclusive new broadband deal offering half-price web services to UK households.
The broadband provider is offering up to 24Mb broadband, bundled with home services, from just £3.25 per month for a whole year.
Consumers signing up for a TalkTalk home phone and broadband package can take advantage of a 50 per cent discount for 12 months when they register online.
The new promotion applies to both of the ISP's popular consumer tariffs – TalkTalk Essentials and TalkTalk Plus.
With the entry-level Essentials package – which is priced at £3.25 per month for one year – subscribers receive a 40GB monthly usage allowance and unlimited evening and weekend calls.
A free wireless broadband router is also included to add to the savings, as is a free installation.
For households requiring home phone services 24/7, the TalkTalk Plus deal is available for £7.25 per month, down from the ordinary monthly price of £15.
Consumers signing up for this package can take advantage of an unlimited usage allowance, a free Wi-Fi router and anti-virus software.
As with TalkTalk Essentials, a £12.60 per month line rental fee applies, but new customers are able to save £29.99 by virtue of a free broadband connection.
A third option exists for customers seeking Essentials broadband services, but with unlimited home phone minutes.
They are able to bolt on an Anytime Calls boost to their broadband deal, paying just £7.25 per month for broadband and unlimited landline calls.
TalkTalk Essentials was named the Best Home Broadband Package in the Top10.com Broadband Awards 2010.
