Griffin Internet has won a prestigious industry award following a successful 12 months for the company.
The broadband provider was named Internet Service Provider of the Year at the Comms Business Awards 2011.
Griffin held onto the title it won in 2010, rewarding the firm for its service excellence and commitment to optimising the customer experience.
Members of the public were invited to vote for their favourite operator, and the broadband provider emerged triumphant for the second successive year.
Griffin Internet fended off strong competition from Virtual1, Zen Internet, Daisy Wholesale and Entanet to win the award.
The firm, a channel-only supplier of IP managed services, has been operating since 1993 - making it one of the longest-established service providers in the UK broadband sector.
Earlier this year, Griffin was named the UK's best channel broadband provider in a poll conducted by Swan Independent Research, with a 23 per cent share of the vote.
BT took second place in the survey with 18 per cent.
